I agree, to an extent. I do get sick of all the inside jokes people post. Why make everyone else see them and have only 1-2 people understand? That's stupid. Alot of my question posts get turned into chats, and I dont really get my question answered. And last night, I was trying to ask serious questions in the chat room, and got no responses. Granted, I realize the chat room is not the best place for help, but still, out of 15 people in there, all they had to talk about was about sexism and kissed up to X-Static. Pathetic.
But, I think this forum needs chat about things other than just Z's to keep it lively. Like mentioned above, this site can be a quite personal place to be as opposed to say off-topic.net. I know a few people personally on the forum, and I like to see what they think about other things than just Z's. As Im sure most of you know, talking about 1 topic day in and day out can be a little boring. Why not have a few unrelated posts here and there?
Personally, I think they're hilarious most of the time. The "Pure evil account hack" was great. "My ass is too big for the seat. Any ideas?" Hahaha, that was a classic. And Timz's post about getting attacked by birds? Great post. And my favorite post of all time would have to be "post a picture of yourself" we had a while back. I have never since seen a post blow up that fast and be so funny.
We need random stuff like that to keep the forum lively. I feel like I know alot of people on the forum personally, even though I really dont, because their personalities really come out when you start getting into non z related stuff, and THAT'S why I keep coming back to this forum. It's like a soap opera/talk show type thing, with different characters and storylines.
Ah well, I think things should even out after a while and TT.net will return to a balanced community. But for now, I think it is more fun as ever to sign on :) P.S. If it doesn't balance out, please dont close the forum! Then I would REALLY not have a life.
